And so the hilarious seven episode adventure — sometimes wacky, sometimes sublime — begins.
Episode 2: Carlotta’s Way
Vita or Luna Negra? A contract on a dog’s life? A pet assassin named Dr. Needles (Kurtis Maguire)? A pack boss Afghan hound mafiosa Carlotta von Hundfeldt? How much of this can be true — or is Vita delusional? Follow Dr. Marsha Mayright as she uncovers the truth of Vita’s past.
Episode 3: What not to Woof
In an attempt to convince Dr. Marsha that Vita’s camera phobia may stem from low self-esteem, Junie introduces Dr. Marsha to the world of makeover shows and performs a makeover on the reluctant Dr. M. They visit the dog park for advice from the starlet and her pretty dog for grooming tips. Will it work? Will Vita find a new BDFF? And who IS that guy with the camera?
Episode 4: Pup-arazzo Playhouse
The Pup-arazzo, trying to convince Junie and Dr. Marsha that Vita is to be the New Pup on the Block, interviews other dogs, and a neurotic squirrel, for an audition tape for the TMZ-style show PetScan. Dr. Marsha is so rattled by his plans that she lets slip her biggest secret — one that could potentially make her more famous than Vita.
Episode 5: Off the Leash
Junie (Meeshelle Neal) and Dr. Marsha (Debra Sears) argue over the Pup-arazzo’s (Gregory Schoen) plan to make himself, Vita, and perhaps Dr. Marsha, famous. Dr. Marsha again lets her secret slip. Vita disappears and after a Monkees-style search, and some information from the dog-phobic squirrel, they find her communing with nature and the mysterious Bow-wowist (Kasey Ryne Mazak). Things are getting weird!
Episode 6: Bow-Wowism Revealed
Dr. Marsha talks with the intense bow-wowist about his connection with Vita and his intentions to take her back to the monastery. In exchange, the bow-wowist teaches Dr. Marsha how to breathe deeply. He then convinces Junie she’d make a good bow-wowist, and takes an opportunity to escape with Vita. Will he succeed? Or will Junie finally embrace her “true Junie-ness” and power, and with the help of that sexy Scooter Guy, get Vita back? The chase is on!
Episode 7: Back to Nature
